Participants will learn about the different types of journals, their audiences, and how to identify the most appropriate journal for their research. The course will cover topics such as the importance of selecting the right journal, factors to consider when choosing a journal, how to evaluate the impact factor and other metrics, and how to avoid predatory publishers. Additionally, participants will learn tips and strategies for navigating the submission process i.e., writing a cover letter, addressing to the reviewers and how to increase the chances of their article being accepted. By the end of this course, participants will have a better understanding of the publishing process and the tools necessary to make informed decisions when selecting a journal.
