This comprehensive course is structured into three essential sections, beginning with the theory of biostatics. You’ll learn about key statistical concepts like probability, distributions, variables, and hypothesis testing in the easiest methods. Following the theoretical concepts, we will offer hands-on training in data analysis using SPSS in an enjoyable and understandable way. There are six classes designed to learn different hypothesis testing as well as to work with practical data set in SPSS. After completing this course, you will have the skills to analyze data and use the most relevant statistics with confidence.
Then, we’ll introduce you to the intriguing field of critical analysis. There will be three sessions to instruct the participants on how to read clinical research papers effectively with more confidence. Our innovative training materials will teach you critical appraisal techniques to evaluate the quality of healthcare research literature. After completing this course, you will be able to evaluate the significance of research publications and determine where there’s a need for further research. Finally, there will be three sessions dedicated to reviewing previously covered material, discussion, and problem solving.
Throughout this course you will follow the step-by-step process, with examples and exercises to learn the statistics. This course is a first step you need to take into the world of statistics and you don’t need any experience to take it. Whatever is your motivation to start with data analysis and statistics, you’re in the right place.
